Refund policy
Returns
Our policy lasts 7 days. All refunds are returned in Australian Dollars (AUD). Refunds are not valid unless the item is faulty or damaged as per Australian Consumer Laws (ACL). Refunds for change of mind, ordered the wrong size or found it cheaper elsewhere will not be honored as per Australian Consumer Laws (ACL). As per ACL, the costs associated with returning the item(s) or order(s) to Kaftan 9 must be covered by the customer & a tracking number must be provided to Kaftan 9 for the return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also have its original tags.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods such as swimwear, lingerie, underwear, and shapewear due to health and safety requirements.
Gift cards are also not returnable, refundable, or redeemable for cash, money order, or any such monetary value.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or invoice, your order number, and photographic proof that your purchase is damaged or faulty. Photos should be sent to kaftan9@optusnet.com.au
All products must be returned to Kaftan 9 at P.O. Box 299, Ingleburn NSW 1890, Australia for a full refund.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your full refund.If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days. However, the costs required to send your purchase back to Kaftan 9 for the return is to be paid by the customer. A tracking number for your returned item must be provided to Kaftan 9 via email at kaftan9@optusnet.com.au.
AfterPay Refunds
If you have purchased from Kaftan 9 via Afterpay and require a refund for damaged or faulty items, refunds will only be issued by Afterpay and not Kaftan 9. Kaftan 9 will inform Afterpay within 3 business days (AEST) of receiving the returned item that your returned items have been returned to Kaftan 9 at P.O. Box 299, Ingleburn NSW 1890, Australia. A full refund will then be issued by Afterpay after confirmation from Kaftan 9 to Afterpay has been made about the returned item. Any and all purchases made via Afterpay will be refunded by and via Afterpay. Any other payment methods will not be accepted for processing the refund.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged or faulty. However, if you would like to exchange your order(s) or product(s) due to a change of mind, please note that shipping to return your order, as well as shipping for Kaftan 9 to send back your exchanged item, must be covered by you. If you need to exchange it for the same item or a different item for the same value, send us an email at kaftan9@optusnet.com.au.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to Kaftan 9, P.O. Box 299, Ingleburn NSW 1890, Australia after you have received an email confirmation of this arrangement.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item back to Kaftan 9. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a full refund, the cost of return shipping back to Kaftan 9 will not be covered by Kaftan 9.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
All items being returned must have a tracking number provided to Kaftan 9 at kaftan9@optusnet.com.au. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
